Cape Fear Music Center was founded in 2006 by five long-time coworkers whose employer was forced to close up shop after almost 80 years in the music business.  CFMC soon became known for providing the same high level of customer service for which these individuals had been known for so many years.

     Over the course of the next decade many changes in the musical instrument industry have forced many of our friendly competitors to close their doors. CFMC has become something of a Rally Point for both Educators and Technicians. Our individual talents are many and varied, but  our greatest strength has grown from our mutual love and respect for each other. The people here are not just outstanding musicians and educators, they are great people.
